Fest and Event is an online platform that enables bookings and payments for third-party events, such as excursions, concerts, fests, and local experiences. By using our website or purchasing through it, you accept our General Terms and this Privacy Notice.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to complete your bookings and comply with legal obligations, including:
- Name and surname
- Email address and phone number
- Country and address of residence
- Booking and payment details
- IP address and cookies (see section 9)

Credit card data is not stored on our servers and is handled by our certified payment processor Monri WSPay.

3. Purpose of Personal Data Collection

We use your data to:
- Process bookings and payments
- Communicate with you (confirmations, reminders, updates)
- Comply with legal and fiscal obligations
- Improve our services
- (Optional) Send promotional materials if you have consented

Your data is processed lawfully under GDPR, based on contract fulfillment, legal obligation, or your explicit consent.

4. Disclosure of Data

We only share your data with:
- Monri WSPay (payment processor)
- Event organizers to fulfill your booking
- Croatian legal authorities upon valid request
- Subcontractors (e.g. hosting, support) who are bound by confidentiality agreements

We do not sell or rent your data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to processing or withdraw consent
- File a complaint to AZOP (Croatian data protection authority)

6. Data Retention

Your data is stored only for the period necessary to fulfill your booking and comply with Croatian legal obligations (e.g. tax regulations). Data used for promotional purposes is stored until you withdraw your consent.

7. Payment Security & WSPay Statement

All payments are securely processed via Monri WSPay™, using the highest standards of data encryption (256-bit SSL and TLS 1.2) and PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Maestro, MasterCard)
- Bank transfer (for foreign clients only)

Bank transfer note: All bank fees, both sender’s and receiver’s, are borne by the client. The account must be credited with the full booking amount.

All transactions are performed in euros (EUR). If you're paying in a different currency, conversion will occur per your card provider’s rate, which may lead to minor discrepancies in the final charged amount.

Fest & Event has ensured high-security standards for credit card payment purposes. Namely, the entry and transfer of personal data and credit card number data are protected by the highest security standards provided by the WSPay ™ system for online authorization of credit cards in accordance with the requirements of credit card and credit card companies and PCI DSS standards. Credit card authorization and payment are executed using the WSPay real-time card authorization and billing system.

Entering and transferring personal data and credit card number information is protected by SSL protocol with the use of 256-bit encryption provided by WSpay™, an online credit card authorization system. Authorization and payment by credit card is realized through WSpay™ system for authorization and credit card payment in real-time. The WSpay system uses the highest standards of data protection and privacy.

All merchants using WSpay are included in 3D secure protection that guarantees customers a secure purchase.

8. Refund Policy

Fest and Event acts only as a booking intermediary. Refund policies depend on the event provider. General rules:
- Refund is only available if the event is canceled by the provider
- For rescheduled events, refund requests must be submitted within 5 business days
- All refund inquiries must be emailed to: support@festandevent.com
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days
- Voucher reservation are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Each event page will display applicable refund and cancellation terms.

9. Cookie Policy

We use cookies to:
- Ensure website functionality
- Analyze site usage (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Improve UX and content
- Remember user preferences (e.g. language)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Rejecting cookies may limit some features.

10. Statement on the Protection of Personal Data Transfer (WSPay)

WSPay ensures that all credit card transactions and personal data transfers are encrypted and handled securely:

“WSPay™ is a secure system for real-time credit card payments. Entry and transfer of personal data and card data are protected by SSL protocol and 256-bit encryption. WSPay is PCI DSS Level 1 certified and uses TLS 1.2 as standard encryption.”

Personal data required for processing:
- Name and surname
- Email and phone number
- Address, country, and ZIP
- Card type, number, expiration, CVV

WSPay processes this data only to complete the transaction and ensures compliance with GDPR and Croatian law.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved amicably whenever possible.
If that fails, the Court in Korčula has jurisdiction.
Croatian law shall apply to all matters not otherwise regulated.
